Your first valid submission sets the order
The leaderboard sorts products by the time they were first added. An earlier listing appears above a later listing, even if the newer product has more clicks. This makes the active rule easy to understand: join sooner to secure an earlier position. Existing entries keep their original timestamps, including products that joined during the earlier paid pilot.
Submitting again does not reset your place
OutbidTools normalizes each website or X handle before saving it. Query strings and fragments are removed, and duplicate submissions resolve to the original listing. Entering the same destination again will not create another row, move the product up, or push it down. This prevents repeated submissions from gaming a first-come ranking.
Free rank is separate from popularity
Position shows join order, while the Trending panel shows products receiving clicks. A product can remain early in the main board without being the most clicked product today. Keeping these signals separate gives visitors two useful views: historical arrival order and current directional attention.

Is an OutbidTools listing really free?
Yes. The current listing flow does not open a payment page or require a card. Submit a valid product URL or X handle to join.
What determines my rank?
Your first valid join time determines rank. Earlier products appear before later products, with a stable internal tie-breaker if two records share the same timestamp.
Can I pay to move higher right now?
No. Payments are paused and the active leaderboard ignores historical bid amounts. Stripe integration and historical transaction records remain stored for accounting and possible future product changes.
Does a free listing guarantee traffic?
No. A listing provides public discovery and directional click tracking, but OutbidTools does not guarantee impressions, unique visitors, leads, sales, or search rankings.
